01 — The client
The project
VetEvent is a Ukrainian school for veterinary practitioners: courses and webinars on nephrology, nutrition and dermatology taught by working specialists. It needed not a website about courses but a platform the courses live on: syllabus, lessons, access, payment and a student account.
02 — Context
The task
Vets study between appointments, on a phone, ten minutes at a time. So the platform has to let them into a lesson without friction and remember where they stopped.
Courses are taught by different authors, more than ten already. Each has to upload a course, split it into lessons and launch cohorts on their own, without a developer and without manual access grants. The difference between “a site about courses” and “a platform” is simple: in the first the sale ends with an email containing a link; in the second learning begins, and the system is responsible for it.

03 — Solution
How it works
3.1
A course as a system, not a page
Every course is a syllabus, video lessons, materials and the student’s progress. The course page shows what you will learn, which lessons it consists of and who teaches. Inside a lesson: video, notes, files and a topic list with completion marks, so the vet returns exactly where they left off.

3.2
Payment and access with no human in the loop
The student pays and lands on the first lesson immediately. No “wait for your link” emails, no manual access grants. A catalogue with prices, a cart, free webinars as the entry to the funnel: all built into the platform.

3.3
Authors build courses themselves
The course builder works right in the admin area: description, cover, video, lessons, price, certificate. A new course, a new lesson, a new cohort: the lecturer sets it up without a developer. For a teaching business that is the point: it lives on constant change.

3.4
Many instructors on one platform
Fifteen lecturers, each with their own page and courses. The platform tells authors apart, counts their courses and shows the student who exactly is teaching. The school grows by adding instructors, not websites.

3.5
Built for vets, not “for an LMS”
Built on Tutor LMS with custom work for veterinary teaching: a design with its own illustrations, a “who this is for” block with video, benefits, reviews from vets. Everything in Ukrainian, including the student account.
04 — Outcome
The result
Selling and granting access run with no human involved: the author works on content, not on sending passwords. The student learns from a phone between appointments and never loses their place.
The client came back with a second project, the Care2Pets animal nutrition website. Her review is in the testimonials section.
