WordPress Plugin Development

When ready-made plugins don’t fit, slow your website down or raise security concerns, I write one for your task: integrations with services, calculators, client portals and automation inside your website. If a ready-made plugin will do the job, I’ll tell you and help you install it.

01 — When you need it

Why people come to me

  • Ready-made plugins don’t do the job

You’ve tried several, and each one solves only half the problem. The rest you do by hand or with workarounds.

  • Your website is overloaded with plugins

A separate plugin for every little thing: ads in the admin panel, subscriptions, scripts on every page. The website is slow, and you’re afraid to update it.

  • You move data by hand

You copy inquiries from the website into the CRM, reconcile payments manually, and appointments live separately from your customer database.

  • A plugin almost fits

It’s missing one feature, or its developer abandoned it, and things break after WordPress updates.

02 — What I do

What a plugin can do

A plugin takes over work that you or your team do now, without weighing the website down.

  1. 01

    Integrations with services

Payments, CRM, online booking, external APIs: data from your website goes on its own to wherever it’s used.

  2. 02

    Calculators and client portals

Prices calculated by your rules, right on the website. A portal where customers see their orders, documents and statuses.

  3. 03

    Automation and admin tools

Exports, reports, bulk edits, custom screens and fields: the website does what your team used to do by hand.

  4. 04

    AI features

Draft replies, descriptions and image captions, sorting of inquiries. You decide which data goes to the AI.

  5. 05

    One plugin instead of several

I replace a bundle of heavy plugins with one lightweight plugin that does only what you need.

  6. 06

    Improving someone else’s plugin

I add a missing feature or fix what broke after an update. I put my changes in a separate add-on so the next update doesn’t erase them.

03 — Experience

Plugins I’ve written

All five run on this website.

AI consultant for your website and Telegram
It runs conversations using a sales script you configure in the admin panel. It sends inquiries with data processing consent to the CRM: contact details, tags and a short summary of the conversation. It notifies managers, is protected from spam and speaks the customer’s language.Ask it a questionGet one for your website
Labeling AI-generated images
It adds a caption to the image and writes a label into the file’s metadata. I’m also developing it as a standalone product for sale.
Cookie consent banner
A custom lightweight banner instead of a heavy plugin.
Kanban boards with a mobile app
Task boards on the website that open as an app on your phone. AI chats are connected to the boards directly: they find, add and move cards.
This website’s plugin
The portfolio section and price calculators. It can email a customer an offer and create a deal in the CRM right away.

04 — Result

What you get

  • The code and the rights to it

The plugin is yours: you can develop it further with me, with another developer or on your own.

  • Built to WordPress standards

User permissions and form data are checked at every step. I test the plugin on the latest version of WordPress together with your website’s plugins.

  • Your website stays light

Fonts, styles and scripts load from your own website, and only where the plugin is used. Visitor data isn’t sent to third-party servers without their consent.

  • In all your website’s languages

All of the plugin’s text can be translated, and it works on a multilingual website.

  • Documentation

What the plugin does, how to configure it and what to check after updates.

  • Ongoing support

Plugin updates and compatibility with new WordPress versions are included in the Website Subscription. Without a subscription — billed by the hour.

05 — Price

How much it costs

First I clarify the task, estimate it in hours and give you a price and a timeline. I start work once you agree. An hour of work is €100$125 or €80$99 for subscribers.

  • Development

A custom plugin for your task

    from €290$349

That’s the price of a small plugin for a single task; for subscribers — from €240$279. Larger tasks are priced by estimate, with no upper limit. I give you the timeline in the estimate.

  • Ready-made plugin

    Installation and setup

    €100$125 per hour

If a ready-made plugin solves the task: a simple installation and setup takes one hour of work, within a day. Complex setup is billed by the hour. €80$99 an hour for subscribers.

Payment: up to €1,500$1,890 — upfront, once the estimate is approved; from €1,500$1,890 — 50% upfront and 50% on delivery, under a contract. Subscribers are Website Subscription clients: while your website is on a subscription, add-ons and hours of work cost about 20% less. Prices exclude VAT.

06 — Terms

Scope of work

What’s not included

Setting up a CRM for your process, a chatbot and systems outside the website are separate services. You pay for service subscriptions, APIs and AI directly to their providers.

What I need from you

The task in your own words, admin access to the website and to the services we’re connecting. One call at the start and a review before delivery.

Paperwork

An estimate or a contract, an invoice, bank transfer.

07 — Questions

Questions and answers

Q1Why not use a ready-made plugin?

If one solves the task, I’ll say so and install it: that’s an hour of work, not development. A custom plugin is needed when ready-made ones solve only half the problem, overload the website or charge a subscription for features you don’t use.

Q2Can I get by with Zapier or Make?

For a simple connection, sometimes yes, and I’ll tell you so. But it’s one more monthly subscription with per-task fees, and your customers’ data passes through a third-party service. A plugin works inside your website and doesn’t charge for every inquiry.

Q3What if I ask an AI to write the plugin?

An AI will write code that works at first glance. A plugin on a live website needs more: permission and data checks, compatibility with your plugins and updates, translations and ongoing support. That’s what I take responsibility for.

Q4How does the work go?

On a call, you describe the task in your own words; you don’t need a ready-made spec. I describe what the plugin will do and send you an estimate. Once you agree, I write and test the plugin on a copy of your website. You accept the work, I install the plugin on your live website and hand over the code with documentation.

Q5Can the price go up during the work?

The price is fixed in the estimate or contract. If something new is needed along the way, I’ll estimate it separately and start only with your consent.

Q6Another developer built my website. Will you take it on?

Yes. First I look at how the website is built and which plugins it uses, and factor that into the estimate. Subscriber prices apply while your website is on a subscription. A website I didn’t build can join after a Technical Website Audit.

Q7Is a subscription required?

No. The plugin is yours and works without a subscription. A subscription is worth it if you want updates and compatibility with new WordPress versions to be my concern.

Q8How long will it take?

I give you the timeline in the estimate together with the price; it depends on the task. Installing and setting up a ready-made plugin takes up to a day.

Tell me what your website should do

A free 30-minute call: we’ll go over the task and what’s already installed on your website. After the call, I’ll estimate the task in hours and give you a price and a timeline.
