01 — Client
The project
Our own project: an online school where business owners learn to do themselves what they used to pay contractors for — a website, a chatbot, an AI photo shoot. The platform runs on the same stack and principles we deliver to clients.
02 — Context
The task
An online school always means an LMS: lessons, student access, personal accounts. And LMS websites are almost always heavy: a page carries so much code that it loads noticeably slower than a plain landing page.
We wanted the opposite: a full course platform that opens like a simple one-page site. Speed is not a whim here — the school runs ads, and every extra second of loading is paid for out of the ad budget.
And the platform itself has to sell the courses: questions get answered by the site — instantly, at any hour — not by a manager in an email thread.
03 — Solution
How it works
3.1
Courses on Masteriyo LMS
A lightweight LMS instead of a heavy suite: lessons, course categories — websites, chatbots, AI — student access and payments. Two teachers run the courses: Sergey and Julia.
3.2
The speed of a static page
The server returns a finished page in roughly a tenth of a second — we measured it. Kadence theme, LiteSpeed cache, not a single external script. For an LMS site that is rare: course platforms are usually among the slowest.
3.3
An AI consultant instead of a manager
In the corner of the site sits our AI Virtual Assistant plugin: it answers course questions following a sales script, collects enquiries with a data-processing consent and passes them to the CRM. A visitor gets an answer right away, not “we’ll call you back”.
3.4
A showcase of our own stack
The school doubles as a demo: the LMS, the speed, the AI widget and the GDPR banner can be tried before signing a contract. What we offer clients runs here in production, on our own project.
04 — Outcome
The result
The school is live: courses are published, the AI consultant answers and collects enquiries, and pages open at a speed you don’t expect from an LMS.
For us it is a dual-purpose project: a working school and a living showcase of our approach — from a lightweight LMS to our own AI plugin.
